KENEN?COLLECTIVE and The Blue Verve are preparing a unique, introspective experience for you on the beloved Helsinki Night of the Arts @taiteidenyo, on Thursday, 20 August, from 17 to 22 💙

“The World Has Already Ended so Many Times” exhibition takes viewers back six years to the summer of 2020 when the world came to a standstill and felt as if it were ending. 

​

In a time overshadowed by the pandemic, fear, and isolation, as the idea of togetherness turned controversial, Helsinki’s youth found momentary solace from their existential anguish in underground raves that fostered hope in the city’s forests and shorelines.

​

Multidisciplinary and immersive, “The World Has Already Ended So Many Times” exhibition offers a glimpse into a challenging chapter of Helsinki's recent history by rebuilding a piece of that world within The Blue Verve’s walls. Opening during Helsinki's Night of the Arts, the exhibition explores how communities reinvent togetherness in times of uncertainty.

Come to experience a collage of collective memories materialized through this installation combining mixed media, textile- and ceramics art , light- and sound design, video and more. And don't forget to take a part of this world home with the first edition of KENEN?ZINE.
