Superstition
Group exhibition

A black cat crosses the road, a mirror breaks, the same number appears over again, and a dream feels too precise to dismiss.
Warm welcome to the opening of Superstition exhibition on Thursday, 15 October, from 17 to 21 💙

Superstition art exhibition brings together works that explore the deeply human tendency to look for patterns, connections, and explanations, even where none may exist.

The artists approach superstition through omens, symbols, rituals, dreams, numbers, animals, objects, and personal associations. Crows, ladders, mirrors, repeated signs and accidental encounters become part of a visual vocabulary shaped by both inherited beliefs and individual experience.

The exhibition considers the peculiar logic behind these beliefs without asking whether they are true or false. Superstition can be playful, irrational, absurd - comforting or unsettling. It gives form to the desire to predict what cannot be predicted and to control what can’t be controlled.
Across painting, print, and sculpture, the familiar becomes charged with possibility. Perhaps it means something. Perhaps it does not. The uncertainty is precisely what keeps us looking
