The exhibition explores how roots - material, psychological, and relational - hold and sustain us. It presents memory, displacement, and the formation of connections as forces that shape who we are and how we grow. 

Roots move through soil, stone, memory, and our hearts. Largely unseen, they determine how something grows, survives, and transforms. “Rooting” traces these hidden systems. Roots emerge in fragments of memory, in the weight of displacement, in the persistence of connections formed across places and time - in a collection of images, stories, and sensations we have gathered since childhood.

 

“Rooting” asks: how do the unseen systems in our lives carry us forward?
