"Comienzo belongs to "La Fábrica" (The Factory) series that reimagines the factory as a metaphor for the artist's workplace and creative process, a place of organic experimentation where concepts are processed through the body, reshaped, or even abandoned. Here, the outcome may not align with the original vision, but it is precisely the unknown that becomes the driving force. The hand symbolizes a struggle between dominance and letting go within the artist's workplace. The artwork is a negotiation with the body and the process, and a surrender to unpredictability."
