Beginning is often imagined as something light, clean, and optimistic. A fresh page. A conscious decision. A stable point from which everything finally starts to make sense. But most beginnings are hard and messy and involve uncomfortable realizations.

 

This exhibition approaches a beginning as a realization about oneself that becomes too visible to ignore. The understanding that certain roles, habits, relationships, expectations, or ways of self-presentation no longer correspond to who one has become. It’s about the decision to act according to this recognition, even when it disrupts what others are comfortable with or accustomed to seeing.

A beginning contains uncertainty, instability, grief and resistance before offering a sense of ease, alignment and relief.

 

Why do we always desire a new beginning at all? Why do we keep starting over?

A beginning is rarely clean. Often, it requires the collapse of something else. The exhibition focuses on the slow process of understanding personal patterns and the attempt to consciously shape one’s own life instead of mechanically repeating inherited structures, behaviors, or emotional cycles.

 

The exhibition is on view from 11.6 till 21.6. Our doors are open Tue-Sat 14-18 and Sun 13-17. Free entry. Warm welcome.
