In “Bearing”, headspace surfaces in posture, breath, and the weight carried through the spine and shoulders. It speaks to what it means to support, to carry, and to direct - to be present, vulnerable and open. The artwork suggests that beginnings require gentle holding and inner guidance.
Oksana Khyzhniak is a Ukrainian artist based in Stockholm. Working across painting, installation and participatory projects, she explores vulnerability, bodily presence, and subtle emotional states that often remain unnoticed in everyday life. Her recent practice focuses on the body as a space of tension, inner warmth and uncertainty. Kesan has participated in international group exhibitions and developed solo projects in Ukraine, Turkey, and Sweden.
